Rick Unterberg

Rick Unterberg has performed at The Townhouse regularly, beginning opening night over twenty years ago. A conservatory-trained musician, Rick has been profiled in the Village Voice and called "the best piano man in town" in Zagat's Night Life Guide. He received the prestigious Bistro Award from Backstage Magazine for outstanding achievement as a piano bar entertainer. September 13, 2008 was proclaimed "Rick Unterberg Appreciation Day" in the Borough of Manhattan by Borough President Scott Stringer. Rick also received a City Council Citation for his professional achievement. Rick was incredibly honored and humbled by these accolades, but considers getting to know his regulars around the piano his greatest reward. For him, The Townhouse is home, and its audience is his extended family.

Michael Ferreri

Michael Ferreri, a TownHouse favorite, leads his audience through an evening of sing-along / open mike. Playing your favorite show tunes, standards and pop tunes, his engaging playing and ability to establish an immediate rapport with his audience have made him one of the most popular musicians at such New York landmarks as One If By Land, Two If By Sea and Tavern On The Green.

Michael has appeared in concert with such celebrated performers as Michael Feinstein, Andrea McArdle and Greg Edelman, to name a few. He has also been given the unique honor of performing for HRH Prince Philip. In addition to his club work Michael has played and arranged for some of cabaret's finest singers both in New York and London's West End and has also served as musical director and side-kick for "Madame," formerly Wayland Flowers and Madame.
